DSG gearboxes typically need servicing every 40,000 miles. If you're unsure, we’ll check your service history and scan the gearbox to confirm.

Do you use genuine VW Group parts?

Yes — we use either genuine parts or high-quality OE (Original Equipment) equivalent, depending on your choice and warranty status.

Can you update my digital service record (DSR)?

Yes, we can log service entries into the official VW Group Digital Service Schedule where required.

Is your diagnostic kit the same as the main dealer?

Yes — we use ODIS, the official VW Group diagnostic platform, along with VCDS and manufacturer data.

Do you reset service lights and warning indicators properly?

Yes — we don’t just clear codes. We carry out full resets and adaptations as required using the correct tools.

Do you service EVs and plug-in hybrids?

We do. We’re trained and equipped to maintain and repair eTSI, GTE and ID-series vehicles from the VW Group.

Do you offer courtesy cars or collection?

We do offer courtesy cars and collection services within reason, but the courtesy car isn’t always available and requires plenty of notice.

How often should I service my Haldex system?

For vehicles with a Haldex filter (Gen1 & Gen2), service every 20,000 miles. For vehicles without a Haldex filter (Gen5), service every 10,000 miles.
What happens if I don't service my Haldex system regularly?

Neglecting regular servicing can lead to blockages in the strainer, pump failure, and reduced performance of the AWD system, potentially resulting in costly repairs.
Can I service the Haldex system myself?

While it's possible to perform basic maintenance, we recommend professional servicing to ensure all components are properly cleaned, primed, and reinstalled with the correct software.
